Resulting from the words "solidarity" and "association", Solid'Assoc is a French

 NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) and Non-profit organization.

Founded in November 2006 thanks to the common will of seven friends, aged from 20 to 22 years and native of the municipality of Uzès, a village situated about twenty kilometres from Nimes in the south of France.

Approximately one year ago, we wished to go in Africa to discover some countries of the North -West.

Conscious of the difficult living conditions in these countries and with the will to bring them our help, we decided some months later to create an association.
